Environmental Policy

 Tesko is committed to reducing its impact on the environment.  We will strive to improve our environmental performance over time and to initiate additional projects and activities that

will further reduce our impacts on the environment. Our commitment to the environment extends to our customers, our staff, and the community in which we operate. 

 

We are therefore committed to the following principles:

 

  • Comply with all applicable environmental regulations

  • Prevent pollution whenever possible

  • Train all of our staff on our environmental program and empower them to contribute and

       participate

  • Communicate our environmental commitment and efforts to our customers, staff, and our community

  • Continually improve over time by striving to measure our environmental impacts and by setting

       goals to reduce these impacts each year 

 

 

 

Occupational Health & Safety Policy

 The main concern of Tesko is the health and safety of our employees, customers and communities we work, as well as the protection of the environment. This is fundamental to our business and primary concern of the management of Tesko. We also believe that all accidents can be prevented. For us, economic considerations do not take priority over safety, health and environmental protection. Every employee is under the obligation to work safely and observe all rules, regulations and instructions, which are applicable to his job.

 

We are therefore committed to the following principles:

 

  • Aim to have a zero work accident rate, a zero environmental incident rate and prevent all occupational illnesses

  • Turn safety, occupational health and environmental affairs into the life style for our employees

  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations and standards 

  • By doing environmental effect analysis in all processes, continuously eliminate all negative impacts

  • Educate all employees about employee health and safety issues

 

This policy is the responsibility of all Tesko employees and contractors and is an integral part of their contract.
